This image is from this month's issue of 'Country Life" (3rd September 2014) and is a reprint of an article originally printed in the magazine 100 years ago, which we thought you might find interesting. Airedales are still being used today as police dogs in various countries like Germany. (I have alwasy thought it quite odd that in the UK we use German Shepherds and in Germany they use British Airedales!!
